Service Cashier Position
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Service Cashier to join our dynamic team. The Service Cashier is responsible for managing financial transactions and ensuring a smooth process for our customers at the dealership.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate and print repair orders, invoices, and itemized bills for customer transactions.
- Accurately record received payments and prepare comprehensive cash reports.
- Ensure the cash drawer is balanced at the start and conclusion of each shift.
- Handle repair orders and operate credit card processing and "Telecheck" systems.
- Maintain thorough documentation of daily transactions.
- Calculate and apply discounts, coupons, and charges to the appropriate accounts on repair orders.
- Prepare and process daily bank deposits.
- Manage Finance and Insurance (F&I) transactions and related sales funds.
- Understand and process extended service policies and warranty payments for repairs.
- Assist in coordinating courtesy transportation for customers.
- Handle incoming mail and assist the receptionist with phone inquiries.
- Participate in departmental meetings.
Qualifications
A high school diploma or equivalent educational background is required; candidates should have one to three months of relevant experience or training, or a suitable combination of education and experience.
