Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at TJ Maxx. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and adhering to all operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, answering questions, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, stockroom, and backroom.
  • Process customer purchases and returns accurately and efficiently, handling cash and credit transactions with precision.
  • Support and promote credit and loyalty programs to increase sales and customer loyalty.
  • Participate in visual merchandising and inventory management to ensure a visually appealing and well-stocked store.
  • Initiate and participate in store recovery efforts to maintain a clean and organized store environment.
  • Adhere to all labor laws, policies, and procedures, including those related to safety and security.
Requirements
  • Excellent customer service skills and a strong ability to work with customers from diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Previous retail experience preferred, but not required.
