About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Retail Sales Associate. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, selling products, and installing batteries and electronics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet customers, ask questions, and determine their needs to provide a complete solution.
  • Sales: Operate technology-based Point of Sale system to complete sales transactions and meet sales targets.
  • Installation and Repair: Install large and small batteries in various devices and disassemble/reassemble phones and tablets to complete repairs.
  • Teamwork: Function as a team player to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals.
Requirements
  • Previous Retail Experience: Preferred but not required.
  • Product Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of store products and services.
  • Customer Service Skills: Advanced customer service skills and ability to handle difficult customers.
  • Math Skills: Basic math skills and ability to use a cash register.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Work Environment

This position requires regular standing, walking, and use of hands to handle or touch; frequent talking, hearing, and lifting up to 50 pounds; and occasional sitting, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching above shoulders, and lifting more than 50 pounds.

The position requires regular use of electrical cables, simple hand tools, a magnifying glass, spot welders, automotive and electronic testing equipment, as well as regular use of a phone, fax, computer, and printer/copier.

Protective clothing and/or equipment used in this position includes goggles, gloves, and steel-toed shoes.
