Position Overview

Epic Travel Staffing Allied is actively seeking a skilled MRI Technologist for a travel assignment.

Job Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring a safe environment within all MRI Safety Zones.
  • Demonstrating proficiency in IV starts for contrast administration.
  • Initiating and concluding exams while accurately documenting in the EMR system.
  • Providing care for patients undergoing moderate and deep sedation.
  • Participating in standby rotation as directed by the lead technologist.
  • Delivering age-appropriate care for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
  • Maintaining a comprehensive log of patients, procedures, complications, and system issues.
  • Understanding and applying the physics related to MRI technology.
  • Conducting quality control functions in accordance with departmental protocols.
  • Assisting physicians as needed and aiding in patient scheduling.
  • Transporting patients as required.
Position Requirements
  • Current OR license.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • AHA BLS certification.
  • ARRT certification.
  • OBMI certification.
