About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Part-Time Sales Associate to join our team at Wayfair. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing an exceptional customer experience, driving sales, and contributing to the success of our retail store.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personalized service to customers, answering questions and offering product recommendations to meet their needs.
  • Drive sales by asking insightful questions, guiding customers through their shopping experience, and offering solutions to meet their needs.
  • Develop a strong understanding of our products and services, including credit, financing, warranty, installation, and delivery options.
  • Participate in visual merchandising, including floor sets, replenishment, and general upkeep of the store.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales targets and provide exceptional customer service.
Requirements
  • 1+ years of retail sales experience, preferably in a design-related environment.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and a drive to exceed sales targets.
  • Strong organization, self-motivation, communication, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to change, and grow with the company.
  • Technical acumen to learn necessary software, with proficiency in Google and Microsoft Office applications preferred.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, walk, talk, and hear for extended periods.
  • Ability to handle, lift, and move up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Starting compensation at $16.50 per hour, with increases based on relevant experience and substantial quarterly bonuses.
