Position Overview:
The Clinical Nurse Specialist is accountable for delivering safe and effective patient care by utilizing the nursing process, which includes assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.

This role involves providing direct patient care within the defined scope of practice and guiding patient and family education, as well as supervising the activities of other nursing staff while adhering to established standards of care within the Oncology Care Unit.

The Clinical Nurse Specialist is directly responsible for the care provided to assigned patients and must communicate effectively with physicians regarding any changes in patients' clinical conditions, including cardiac monitoring, diagnostic results, and symptomatology.

Qualifications:
Prior experience in an acute care hospital setting is preferred.
A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
