Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute comprehensive test documentation and support work in a timely and professional manner, adhering to compliance protocols and departmental benchmarks.
  • Engage collaboratively within a team environment, emphasizing motivation, support, and knowledge sharing.
  • Investigate relevant laws and regulations pertaining to the testing processes and revise compliance testing documentation as necessary.
  • Detect instances of noncompliance and relay these findings to the Project Lead and/or Compliance Testing Manager as required.
  • Assist in pinpointing operational concerns that may lead to financial losses and propose best practice recommendations to the Project Lead and/or Compliance Testing Manager.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure that identified exceptions are addressed appropriately.
  • Participate in job-specific training and additional training programs as mandated by the organization.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is preferred; relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
  • 1-3 years of experience in the financial services sector with a foundational understanding of regulatory frameworks.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and possess other relevant technological skills.
  • Basic data mining and data set analysis capabilities.
  • Ability to recognize and evaluate compliance risks.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and research competencies.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and reasoning abilities, capable of defining issues, gathering data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions to make informed recommendations.
  • Maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in daily operations.
  • Experience in project management is advantageous for effectively navigating high-pressure situations with time constraints.
  • Exceptional writing skills are essential.
  • Meticulous attention to detail is crucial for fulfilling job responsibilities accurately.
  • Position requires the capacity to remain seated for extended durations.
  • Occasional travel may be necessary.
