Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our team at SERVPRO of Northern Staten Island. As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding our customer base in the commercial cleaning and restoration industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet or exceed assigned sales quota by executing the sales cycle, setting up closing appointments, and maintaining assigned contact lists.
- Participate in professional associations, host lunch-and-learns, and promote continuing education (CE) courses to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
- Maintain existing customer relationships and build new ones by educating them on the benefits of SERVPRO's services and why we are the best choice in the industry.
- Compile and maintain decision-maker information and identify top prospects to develop into clients.
- Provide owners and sales and marketing managers with regular updates and insights on sales performance and territory growth.
- Increase sales territory revenue by consistently achieving and exceeding sales territory goals.
Requirements:
- A minimum of two years of progressively responsible business-to-business sales experience.
- Proven track record of sales and marketing success within the service sector.
- Strong business and financial background, with a process-and-results-driven attitude.
- Experience in the commercial cleaning and restoration or insurance industry is preferred.
- Working knowledge of current business software technologies is required.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing or business or equivalent experience.
- Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law.
Compensation: Competitive base pay plus activity-based commission and increases based on merit.
