Key Responsibilities- Provide basic bedside care, including vital sign monitoring, medication administration, and wound care.
- Assist with bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene as needed.
- Evaluate patient needs and develop care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Establish and maintain a therapeutic relationship with patients and their families.
- Participate in on-call emergency coverage and provide crisis intervention as needed.
- Coordinate services with community health, mental health, and social service agencies to ensure comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records and billing information.
- Current and active license in Nursing.
- Preferred one year of direct service experience in a hospital or mental health setting.
- Legal status to work in the United States.
- Reliable transportation, valid California Driver License, and proof of automobile insurance coverage.
- Knowledge of basic computer software programs, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to relate to people with mental illness and knowledge of DSM-IV and Mental Illness.
