Job Summary

Compass Group USA is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Hospitality Team Member to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in a clean and orderly condition.
  • Operate large electric machines, such as dishwashers, sanitizers, and trash compactors, to ensure efficient and effective cleaning and waste management.
  • Wash and sanitize worktables, walls, refrigerators, and food preparation surfaces to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Segregate and remove trash and garbage, and place it in designated containers to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Steam clean or hose out garbage cans in assigned areas to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and other food preparation equipment to maintain a clean and efficient kitchen.
  • Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas, observing safe lifting standards to prevent injury.
  • Assist with banquet table and front-of-house setup as requested to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment as needed to maintain a well-stocked and organized kitchen.
  • Comply with all outlined sanitation and safety requirements to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Requirements:
  • At least 1 year of previous experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
