Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver outstanding customer service.
  • Advise clients on suitable loan products and process consumer loan applications.
  • Clearly communicate loan terms and conditions to ensure customer understanding.
  • Facilitate transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.
  • Support the Branch Manager with branch certification reviews and audits.
  • Assist customers with various requests, including cash advances, wire transfers, foreign currency exchanges, and more.
  • Manage customer accounts, including opening and closing accounts and performing necessary maintenance.
  • Promote and explain banking services and products to both existing and potential clients.
  • Refer clients to in-house financial specialists as needed.
  • Prepare documentation for opening or closing deposit and consumer loan accounts.
  • Process applications for credit cards, safe deposit boxes, and loans.
  • Verify bank account details upon client request.
  • Discuss bank policies and any changes with clients.
  • Resolve client inquiries and complaints effectively.
  • Adhere to all bank policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with audit requirements.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Branch Manager.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Assist with Branch Certifications as outlined in the Retail Operations Manual.
  • Provide transaction overrides as necessary.
  • Conduct product and customer service training.
  • Participate in Branch Security duties.
  • Assist with branch opening and closing procedures.
  • Represent and promote the bank in a professional manner at community events.
Required Qualifications

(Education requirements may be met through experience and/or relevant knowledge)
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license, as travel between branches may be necessary.
  • A minimum of one year of retail banking experience, particularly in account opening.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment

Ability to stand and sit for extended periods, with close visual acuity for operating computer applications and equipment, including copy machines and telephones. Some travel may be required for branch visits. The position is primarily within a standard office environment.

Preferred Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license, as travel to branches and customer visits may be required.
  • Three years of retail banking experience, with a focus on account opening and consumer lending.
