Under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, this individual will perform various patient care tasks and procedures to ensure the comfort, safety, and well-being of patients.
Key Responsibilities- Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and report patient vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by a Registered Nurse
- Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families
- Participate in patient education and discharge planning
- Successful completion of an accredited nursing assistant training course or minimum six months of previous patient care experience
- Current CPR Certification issued by either American Heart Association or American Red Cross
