Key Responsibilities:
  • Educate clients and address their concerns in collaboration with veterinarians.
  • Engage with clients, following established communication protocols.
  • Mentor and train junior team members.
  • Manage client interactions during urgent situations, including triage.
  • Discuss financial estimates and treatment options with clients.
  • Conduct sensitive conversations regarding euthanasia and aftercare.
  • Gather comprehensive patient histories and ensure efficient appointment management.
  • Exhibit proficiency in veterinary terminology and medical calculations.
  • Prioritize safety for patients and staff.
  • Monitor vital signs and respond to changes effectively.
  • Perform medical procedures, including blood draws and catheter placements.

Requirements:
  • Background in veterinary medicine.
  • Recent completion of a CVT program or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in using veterinary management software.
  • Familiarity with medical equipment and procedures.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to de-escalate client concerns effectively.
  • Team-oriented with mentoring capabilities.
  • Advanced knowledge of veterinary practices and equipment.
