Job Title: Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP)

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) to join our team at Carolina Therapeutic Services Health. As a QMHP, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality behavioral health services to our clients, working closely with our team to ensure seamless care coordination and effective service delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate behavioral health services and interventions for clients, working collaboratively with other professionals and stakeholders.
  • Engage with community and natural supports, incorporating their input into the person-centered planning process.
  • Deliver direct care services as needed to ensure continuity of care.
  • Develop and implement individual treatment plans, monitoring progress and making adjustments as necessary.
  • Collect and submit data for continuing service authorization, maintaining accurate records and ensuring 100% authorization rates.
  • Input and upload client demographics onto our documentation site.
  • Consult with medical and non-medical providers to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Participate in team meetings and decision-making processes, contributing to the development of effective solutions.
  • Ensure client rights are respected and protected at all times.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Monitor service delivery to ensure goals are met and continuity of care is maintained.
  • Conduct weekly service follow-up calls to clients and guardians.
  • Prepare monthly outcome summaries and progress reports.
  • Ensure services are delivered in accordance with regulatory standards and licensure requirements.
  • Provide regular supervision to assigned staff, documenting progress and areas for improvement.
  • Review and approve staff service notes to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Create and review service schedules for assigned staff.

Requirements:

  • A Master's Degree in a human service field.
  • At least 1 year of experience in mental and behavioral health.
  • Supervising experience preferred.
  • Spanish-speaking skills a plus.

  • Behavioral Screening Certification.
  • CTS Health orientation.
  • Rule 132.
  • Service Definition.
  • OIG Rule 50.
  • First Aid/CPR/AED/Bloodborne Pathogen.

Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year.
