Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Ascension Genesys. As a key member of our Radiology department, you will be responsible for operating radiographic equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate radiographic equipment to produce clinical diagnostic radiographs and images
  • Perform diagnostic procedures according to established standards and radiation safety practices
  • Work directly with patients, radiologists, physicians, and fellow associates to deliver quality patient care
  • Follow established rules, regulations, policies, and procedures of Genesys Regional Medical Center
  • Assist in the instruction and training of radiology students and new employees
  • Act as a technical resource for radiology residents and radiologists
Requirements
  • Certified BLS Provider specializing in Basic Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required
  • Or be certified by the American Registry of Clinical Radiography Technologists (ARCRT); renewal is required
  • Must possess equivalent of a high school diploma, and must have completed an accredited 2-year radiology program
