Medical Technologist Position

Detroit Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled Medical Technologist to join our team in a challenging and rewarding role.
As a Medical Technologist, you will be responsible for performing quantitative and qualitative laboratory tests on patient specimens according to standard laboratory formulas and procedures. Your analytical skills and attention to detail will be crucial in ensuring accurate results and maintaining the highest level of patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform laboratory tests and procedures according to standard protocols and procedures.
- Analyze test results and prepare samples for further testing.
- Calculate test findings and maintain accurate records.
- Process and test various types of laboratory specimens.
- Review and report lab results to healthcare professionals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree from an approved college or university and/or graduate of an accredited school of medical technology.
- Minimum 6 months to 1 year of medical laboratory technologist experience in an acute care facility.
- Registered or registry eligible in accordance with an approved certifying agency (ASCP, NCA, AMT or CSMLS within 12 months of hire).
