Position Overview:

The Logistics Associate 1 plays a crucial role in fulfilling operational delivery and kitting objectives. Key responsibilities encompass receiving, storing, managing, shipping, and inventorying products, ensuring they are prepared for customer delivery while fostering a culture of safety and compliance. This position requires the ability to work autonomously, follow specific instructions, or collaborate effectively within a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Exemplifies and promotes alignment with HOLT's Vision, Values, and Mission.
  • Follows established guidelines and procedures for loading, unloading, storing, and distributing inventory materials to meet customer demands and achieve production targets.
  • Ensures accurate staging of parts and finished products for shipment.
  • Operates material handling equipment such as carts, tuggers, forklifts, and other devices to transport materials within designated areas.
  • Implements and maintains best practices for kitting processes to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Keeps all company equipment and work/storage areas in optimal, clean, and functional condition.
  • Adheres to all safety protocols, policies, and training requirements, reporting any near misses or incidents promptly.
  • May require overtime based on workload and customer needs.
  • Regular and punctual attendance is essential.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

• Basic knowledge and proficiency in current computer software and hardware.

• Ability to operate a conventional forklift safely and efficiently.

• Skill in quickly and accurately controlling machinery or vehicles.

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.

• Competence in reading, writing, and comprehending information.

• Capacity to listen and understand spoken information and ideas.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

• At least one year of experience operating various sizes of forklifts is preferred.

• Previous experience with Material Tracking Systems (MTS) is advantageous.
