Job Summary:
Bermuda Village Retirement Community is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to provide high-quality care to our residents. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing individualized care plans, ensuring the physical and emotional well-being of our residents.

Responsibilities:
Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Supervise a team of Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to ensure patient care needs are being met.
Administer medication accurately and efficiently, maintaining accurate records of care as required by the facility.
Monitor residents' conditions, reporting any concerns or changes to the Nursing Supervisor or Director of Nursing.

Requirements:
Current, unrestricted RN/LPN license.
Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors, and the general public.
Compassion for and desire to work with the elderly, understanding that our facility is considered the residents' home.
Ability to work responsibly as a team member and individual, demonstrating honesty, ethics, fairness, and dependability.

Working Conditions:
Scheduled hours, with possible overtime.
Frequent interruptions and interactions with residents, personnel, and visitors.
Subject to callback during emergency conditions, such as severe weather or evacuation.
May be exposed to hazardous chemicals and physical hazards, including falls and equipment-related injuries.

Physical/Sensory Requirements:
Medium work, requiring the ability to exert 10-35 pounds of force frequently and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
Must be able to move intermittently throughout the day and function independently, with flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with residents and staff.
Must be able to relate to and work with the ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and, at times, hostile people within the community.
