Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our healthcare team at Chenega Corporation. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our patients and staff.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including vital signs, scheduling, and greeting patients and visitors.
  • Screen for health measures, obtain medication, and administer to patients within your scope of practice.
  • Immunize pediatric and adult patients, prepare patients for provider visits, and manage provider schedules.
  • Obtain medical records, update patient charts, and enter electronic information into the Electronic Health Record.
  • Ensure patient consent for treatment and follow standing orders for electronic order entry.
  • Direct patients to testing areas, review documents, and forward to appropriate personnel.
  • Monitor clinic flow, check patients out, and ensure contact information is obtained.
  • Route correspondence, arrange appointments, and assist patients with contacting patient care services.
Qualifications
  • Practical Nursing Diploma from a Vo-Tech school.
  • Current, valid, unrestricted LPN license within the Continental United States.
  • Valid state driver's license.
  • Physical ability to perform assigned tasks, lift 50 pounds, and stand/walk for extended periods.
