Job Title: Pharmacist in Charge Position

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Pharmacist to lead our pharmacy team. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of federal and state pharmacy laws and regulations, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately dispense prescription medications to patients.
  • Provide detailed counseling on medication usage, potential side effects, and interactions.
  • Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local pharmacy regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records and manage controlled substances responsibly.
  • Oversee and train pharmacy staff to ensure adherence to best practices.
  • Work with healthcare providers to manage and improve patient care.
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels to prevent shortages and overstock.
  • Handle insurance claims processing and reimbursement efficiently.
  • Address and resolve patient inquiries and concerns professionally.

Requirements:

  • A valid state required pharmacist license.
  • A Doctor of Pharmacy (Ph.D.) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a pharmacy setting.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in Medication Therapy Management (MTM).
  • Experience with inventory management and cost-saving measures.
  • Proven track record of effectively managing a pharmacy team.
