Automotive Faculty

Colorado Mountain College is a comprehensive, public, open-access dual-mission institution that offers a wide range of academic programs, including the Automotive Service Technology Program. We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Automotive Faculty member to join our team. The successful candidate will teach all courses in the Automotive Service Technology Program, primarily to a diverse group of Eagle County School District high school students at our automotive shop located in Gypsum. This position also includes serving on campus and college-wide committees, student advising, and performing other duties normally required of a full-time faculty member.

• Teach a 30-credit hour teaching load annually
• Develop and implement curriculum for the Automotive Service Technology Program
• Collaborate with colleagues to expand the program and strengthen business and industry partnerships
• Participate in campus and college-wide committees and service activities
• Engage in student advising and mentoring

• Credential to teach in this program or eligible to be credentialed
• Related associate's degree or relevant current industry license or certification, and 4000 verified occupational/industry hours within 7 years
• Experience in various instructional modalities using a learning management system (LMS) like Canvas

• Competitive salary range: $74,591.59 - $90,852.49 annual salary
