Position Overview:
The catering bartender plays a crucial role in the setup, execution, and dismantling of banquet events. The ideal candidate should exhibit professionalism, approachability, and adaptability, thriving in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. We emphasize the importance of excellent attendance and availability to fulfill event requirements as needed.
Compensation:
This position offers an hourly wage of $18.50.
Benefits for Part-Time Employees:
Eligible employees will have access to a 401(k) savings plan with matching contributions. Additionally, part-time, seasonal, and internship staff will accrue one hour of paid leave for every 30 hours worked, up to a maximum of 48 hours annually.
Key Responsibilities:
- Uphold the company's standards for excellence in guest service and teamwork while adhering to uniform and grooming policies.
- Serve plated meals and replenish food at stations or buffets, ensuring awareness of dietary restrictions.
- Provide beverage service to guests, including tableside wine service, and possess the capability to manage a standard bar.
- Assist with the loading and unloading of equipment and supplies at event venues.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ready to support fellow team members.
- Adhere to sanitation, health, and safety protocols in all work areas.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- At least one year of experience in a fine dining or large-scale dining environment is preferred.
- Strong commitment to delivering outstanding hospitality.
- Detail-oriented with strong multitasking abilities.
- Capable of working independently while contributing to a team-oriented atmosphere.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and extended hours as needed.
- Eagerness to learn and advance in a professional setting.
