Position Overview:
The Room Attendant plays a crucial role in ensuring that guest accommodations are clean and inviting while delivering attentive, courteous, and efficient service to all guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meticulously clean guest rooms in accordance with established standards.
- Complete all pre-cleaning tasks, including preparing guest supplies, cleaning materials, and linens for the housekeeping cart.
- Remove all waste and soiled linens from guest rooms and corridors.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in all hallways, public spaces, and storage areas.
- Restock the housekeeping cart in preparation for the following day.
- Replenish cleaning chemical containers as needed.
- Report any missing items from rooms to the Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
- Notify the Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager of any maintenance issues promptly.
- Handle lost and found items in accordance with company standards.
- Ensure overall guest satisfaction through attentive service.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent; experience in a hotel or related field is preferred.
- Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
- Capability to stand for the duration of the shift.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with all levels of employees and guests in a friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner.
