Position Summary
The Imaging Services Specialist plays a crucial role within the MultiCare Off-Campus Emergency Department team. In this capacity, you will conduct general imaging studies that necessitate independent judgment, creativity, and initiative. Collaborating with your colleagues, you will ensure the delivery of comprehensive and compassionate imaging care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct general radiography imaging studies under the guidance of the Chief Technologist and Director of Imaging Services.
- Adhere to established policies and procedures while providing patient care and addressing the personal needs and comfort of patients and their families.
- Identify and communicate patient needs to foster a safe and comfortable care environment.
Qualifications
- Certification from the State of Washington Department of Health as a Radiologic Technologist.
- Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography (R) or Computed Tomography (CT), required upon hire or within six months of employment.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
