This role is essential in maintaining cleanliness and order throughout our buildings. A successful candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks across all areas of the facility.
  • Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and cleaning windows and mirrors.
  • Maintain outdoor spaces by clearing trash and debris from sidewalks and parking lots.
  • Assist with snow removal as needed.
  • Manage the collection and disposal of soiled towels from locker rooms and other areas.
  • Handle laundry duties for towels and mop heads during shifts.
  • Restock essential supplies such as soap, toilet paper, and paper towels.
  • Follow safety protocols when using cleaning chemicals, including wearing appropriate protective gear.
  • Maintain and care for cleaning equipment.
  • Respond to spills and accidents promptly with the correct cleaning methods.
  • Support event preparations and clean-up efforts.
  • Engage positively with members, staff, and visitors.
  • Be adaptable to various shift assignments as required.
  • Report any maintenance issues or damages to the supervisor.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Ability to read and write effectively.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Flexibility to adjust work schedules as needed.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently or collaboratively.
  • Demonstrated physical agility and dexterity.
  • Basic mathematical skills.
  • Familiarity with cleaning equipment and agents.
  • Strong organizational skills.
