We are seeking a highly skilled Door Systems Technician to join our team at US AMR-Jones Lang LaSalle Americas, Inc. as a Facilities Maintenance Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of various door systems within our clean room manufacturing facility.
Key Responsibilities- Install, maintain, and repair door systems, including automatic and manual doors, to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as lubricating hinges and checking door alignment, to prevent malfunctions and extend the lifespan of door systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with door systems, using technical knowledge and problem-solving skills to resolve problems efficiently.
- Collaborate with other maintenance personnel to ensure seamless operation of door systems and minimize downtime.
- Conduct regular inspections of door systems to identify potential issues and implement preventive measures.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of door system components, including motors, controls, and interlocks.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in door system maintenance and repair.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification in a related field preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in door system maintenance and repair, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong technical knowledge of door systems, including automatic and manual doors, and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and work at heights, as required.
- Availability to work overtime as needed to meet deadlines.
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with frequent exposure to noise, dust, and other hazards. The ability to work safely and efficiently in a dynamic environment is essential.
