About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Hazardous Locations Engineer to join our team at Eurofins USA Consumer Product Testing. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assessing products designed to national, regional, and international standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessing products designed to national, regional, and international standards
  • Preparing technical reports, technical files, and certificates
  • Preparing test plans and working with the test engineer to conduct tests correctly and safely
  • Occasional conducting of tests either in the Eurofins labs or at customer sites
  • Providing technical advice to clients
  • Occasional travel domestically or internationally
  • Preparing quotations in partnership with the sales team

Requirements:

  • Experience with hazardous locations standards to include, but not limited to, UL/CSA/IEC/EN 60079 series standards, UL 1203, UL 121201
  • Demonstrated product safety experience either from an NRTL, test lab, or manufacturer
  • An engineering-associated educational background
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
