Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with cleaning and sanitization standards, performing essential tasks to uphold quality.
  • Safely handle chemicals and equipment, maintaining responsible usage at all times.
  • Manage the sorting, counting, stocking, and distribution of clean linens as required.
  • Follow designated cleaning procedures for various facility areas, including routine inspections by management.
  • Assist in moving and exchanging carts, as well as handling drapes and sheers.
  • Consistently apply standard precautions for infection control.
  • Facilitate cleaning by moving furniture and occasionally using ladders for elevated tasks.
  • Show willingness to learn additional responsibilities related to the role.
  • Exhibit outstanding customer service by addressing service requests with a positive demeanor.
  • Adhere to scheduled tasks and ensure timely completion.
  • Serve as a role model during the training of new employees, providing encouragement and demonstrating positive workplace behavior.
  • Prioritize the safety and well-being of all residents.
Work Schedule:

This is a full-time position primarily during first shift hours, with variability in working days. Flexibility for evening, weekend, on-call, holiday, and inclement weather shifts may be required.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a customer service role or working with senior adults is preferred.
  • Prior housekeeping experience of 1-3 years is advantageous.
Licensing Requirements:
  • A valid Pennsylvania Driver's License and an acceptable motor vehicle record check are preferred.
