Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled ADAS Middleware Developer to join our team at Ford Motor Company. As a Middleware Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and integrating platform abstraction middleware for our ADAS features.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop platform abstraction middleware for ADAS features
  • Understand overall middleware architecture and provide guidance to software developers
  • Work with code quality tools, write unit tests, and ensure proper code coverage
  • Collaborate with other teams to diagnose and resolve issues
  • Work with continuous integration teams to ensure required changes are brought to production
  • Support SW verification and validation teams to establish test strategies
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • 6+ months of experience in software development in C++ programming language
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with modern software development and design in C++
  • Understanding of various communication styles and protocols
  • Understanding of ABIs and backwards compatibility
  • Understanding of AUTOSAR Adaptive
  • Experience with Linux and QNX operating systems
  • Experience with Agile software development processes
