Welder Specialist

Job Summary:

Rovanco Piping Systems, a leading manufacturer of pre-insulated piping systems, is seeking a skilled Welder Specialist to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform duties to fabricate plastic and metal reservoirs utilizing various welding machines and equipment.
• Work from blueprints, shop orders and instructions to ensure high-quality production.
• Set up angles and temperatures on plastic welder to achieve optimal results.
• Operate hand welding torch to fabricate and attach metal couplings and covers.
• Set up head, speeds and gas pressure on seam welder to meet production requirements.
• Replace tips and cones on welding equipment as needed to maintain efficiency.

Requirements:

• Certification per ASME Section 9 is a plus.
• Ability to produce X-ray quality welds using GMAW, SMAW, and SAW process is essential.
• Must pass a 1G, 5G and 6G pipe test to demonstrate expertise.
