Job Title: Substance Use Outpatient Therapist/Licensed Clinician

Cumberland River Behavioral Health, Inc. is seeking a qualified Substance Use Outpatient Therapist/Licensed Clinician to join our team.

Qualifications:
  • Clinical Master's Degree/Doctoral Degree from an accredited school, or currently enrolled in a clinical Master's program at an accredited school;
  • Meet Licensure Requirements from respective board: Psychology, Social Work, Professional Counseling;
  • Marriage and Family. Must start or be in the process of becoming a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor.

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate individual to provide clinical interventions within the scope of their practice for the consumers of Cumberland River Behavioral Health, Inc.

Responsibilities:
  • Make an assessment of and determine the clinical interventions for the assigned consumers;
  • Implement a treatment plan based on assessment data as well as a sound knowledge base of standards of professional practice and principles of their respected discipline;
  • Substance Use staff may be required to perform drug screens on clients as needed;
  • Provide care based on ethical concepts, adhering to established standards of practice;
  • Ensure the accuracy, content and completeness of client files;
  • Provide services within time requirement as set forth in Agency policy and procedures;
  • Respond to emergency situation in a timely fashion;
  • Demonstrate the ability to work effectively with other team members, as part of a multidisciplinary team, and independently, when necessary.

  • Ability to work well with people of all races, backgrounds and needs;
  • Knowledgeable of Mental Health and Substance Use concepts and how to incorporate concepts into practical application with health promotion and wellness education.
