USGP is seeking a dedicated Nutrition Specialist to enhance community health initiatives. The selected candidate will oversee nutrition programs and conduct thorough assessments, coaching, and counseling tailored to meet diverse community needs.
Key Responsibilities- Administer and evaluate nutrition programs aimed at promoting health and wellness.
- Implement health promotion strategies and fitness initiatives that align with nutritional guidelines.
- Provide Medical Nutrition Therapy to clients, ensuring personalized care.
- Coordinate evidence-based health programs to improve overall health outcomes and mission effectiveness.
The ideal candidate will possess a baccalaureate or advanced degree in dietetics from an accredited institution, along with relevant experience in health promotion and lifestyle counseling. Current registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration is required, as well as a valid license if applicable.
Strong knowledge of dietetics and behavior change theories is essential for planning, implementing, and assessing nutrition initiatives effectively.
