The MCRT Construction Operations division offers a variety of internship opportunities aimed at educating students and recent graduates pursuing careers in real estate development with an emphasis on construction.
Our goal at MCRT is to provide these students and graduates with hands-on experience in their future careers and exposure to the essential skills required for success.
The MCRT internship roles will be tailored to enhance the educational background and prior experiences of the candidates.
Internships will include various forms of job training and exposure to leading practices, processes, and project management software utilized in the industry, as well as insights into the culture and work environment of a recognized industry leader.
Key Responsibilities:Internship roles will vary and may depend on the candidate's background and interests. Interns will be assigned to assist in various supporting roles under the guidance of experienced MCRT field and office personnel who will provide direction and mentorship.
Supporting roles may include collaboration with:
- Field Supervisors overseeing daily site activities and subcontractors;
- Project Engineers, Managers, and Estimators managing project budgets, cost forecasting, contracting, and procurement of materials and services, as well as processing design information and related inquiries;
- Project Coordinators and Project Billing Managers responsible for managing contracts, purchase orders, billing, and construction loan payment requests. Education and Experience:
Current or recent enrollment in an educational program focusing on real estate development, construction management, architecture, or relevant engineering and software management fields is preferred.
