Responsibilities


As a Cardiovascular ICU Nurse, you will be expected to:

  • Maintain a vigilant focus on high-acuity patients
  • Demonstrate quick thinking and responsiveness in critical situations
  • Evaluate, administer, and educate on medications tailored to each patient's care plan
  • Provide education to patients and their caregivers regarding conditions, treatment plans, and preventive measures
  • Engage in decision-making processes that enhance the quality of care in the intensive care environment
Qualifications


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution
  • Active Registered Nurse license with the Board of Nursing in your practicing state or eNLC practice privileges
  • One year of recent experience in acute care settings
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within six months of hire

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • New graduate positions available through RN residency programs

Pay Range:
$43.05 per hour
