Electrical Assembler Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Assembler to join our Assembly Department on the First Shift. The successful candidate will work from blueprints, work orders, and instructions to assemble electrical products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings to assemble products accurately.
  • Determine necessary tooling and set up equipment for each work order.
  • Use measurement devices and hand tools to assemble products.
  • Prepare layouts for sub-assemblies and troubleshoot own work.
  • Operate a fork truck and overhead cranes safely.
  • Enter work order information through terminals in the shop.
  • Follow safety guidelines for equipment operation and participate in Continuous Improvement Projects.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalency required.
  • Minimum 2 years related experience preferred.
  • Experience in crane or heavy equipment manufacturing preferred.
  • Ability to understand applicable electrical codes.
  • Work in a factory setting; ability to stand 6-10 hours daily, lift
