Summit Medical Staffing Allied is seeking a skilled Catheterization Laboratory Technologist to join their team for a travel assignment in a hospital setting.

Job Summary

This is a 12-week travel assignment with a 40-hour workweek, requiring the technologist to work 8-hour shifts, days. The ideal candidate will have experience in cath lab procedures and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Perform catheterization laboratory procedures, including coronary and peripheral angiograms
  • Operate imaging equipment, such as fluoroscopy and ultrasound machines
  • Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of procedures and patient data
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
Requirements
  • Current certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Radiologic Technologist (RRT)
  • Experience in cath lab procedures, preferably in a hospital setting
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends
