About the Role

As a Customer Care Specialist, you will be responsible for securing new recurring revenue from residential prospects and expanding existing customer relationships through proactive in-person interactions. Your primary objective will be to build trust, provide personalized support, and promote Cable One's products and services.

Responsibilities
  • Gains comprehensive understanding of customer care principles, procedures, and methodologies.
  • Develops familiarity with customer support concepts, including billing, pricing, and issue resolution.
  • Responds promptly to customer-generated tickets, providing empathetic and personalized communication.
  • Demonstrates active listening skills, asking relevant questions to understand customer needs and concerns.
Key Qualifications
  • A minimum of one year of proven sales experience or 2 years of college education; or equivalent combination of sales experience and college education.
  • Stable work history and valid driver's license.
  • Basic mathematical and computer skills, as well as proficiency in time management and prioritization.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to represent Cable One in a professional manner.
