As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining imaging equipment, preparing patients for exams, and producing high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including CT scanners, MRI machines, and X-ray units.
- Prepare patients for exams by explaining procedures, positioning patients, and ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes, ensuring accurate and detailed results.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques, attending training sessions and workshops as needed.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
- Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Radiography or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist in a hospital or healthcare setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
