Chief Financial Strategist

Financial Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned financial professional to drive strategic growth and operational efficiency within our Finance Team at Vaco. This role will support the Company's CFO directly, leveraging expertise in financial strategy, leadership, and analysis to inform business decisions and drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Strategy & Leadership:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive financial strategies to support the company's growth and profitability goals.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to drive informed business decisions and operational improvements.
• Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):
  • Manage the budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with company goals.
  • Conduct regular financial analysis, providing insights and recommendations to improve profitability and mitigate risks.
• Revenue Recognition:
  • Oversee revenue recognition processes, ensuring compliance with GAAP and other regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with operations and billing teams to ensure timely recognition of revenue streams in accordance with contractual terms.
• Reporting & Compliance:
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for senior management, investors, and the Board of Directors.
  • Ensure compliance with all accounting regulations and standards, including tax filings, audits, and internal controls.
• Operational Improvement:
  • Drive continuous improvements in financial operations, processes, and systems to enhance efficiency and scalability.
  • Implement best practices in financial management, reporting, and controls.
  • Oversee software upgrade initiatives.

Requirements:

• Experience:
  • 7+ years of progressive finance experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or senior management role.
  • Experience working in a Private Equity-backed, VC, or Investment Banking Company is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated expertise in revenue recognition specific to medical providers or healthcare services.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial modeling, and financial reporting.
• Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required.
  • CPA, CFA, or MBA is preferred but not mandatory.
• Skills & Abilities:
  • Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing finance teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to present complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, financial modeling software, and ERP systems.
