Soar Autism Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Entry-Level Developmental Therapist to join our team in Wheat Ridge, Colorado.
About the Role:We are looking for a highly motivated and empathetic individual to work with children with autism and their families. As a Developmental Therapist, you will be responsible for providing individualized care and support to children, helping them to reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide 1:1 care and support to children with autism, teaching new skills and promoting comprehensive growth.
- Engage children in play-based routines, transforming everyday moments into opportunities for teaching and nurturing essential life skills.
- Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to design and implement individualized developmental plans, upholding the principles of the Early Start Denver Model.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with families, providing regular insights on their child's progress and offering guidance rooted in best child care practices.
- A competitive hourly rate of $20.50-$26.00, with regular bonus and promotion opportunities.
