About the Role

UF Health is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our team at UF Health Spanish Plaines Hospital. As a member of our therapy team, you will provide direct patient care to patients referred for occupational therapy.

Responsibilities
  • Work under the direction of the Director of Therapy Services and/or the Supervisor of Therapy Services.
  • Provide direct patient care as directed by the evaluating Occupational Therapist.
  • Participate in team conferences, staff meetings, and other meetings as necessary.
  • Interact professionally with all therapy team members and understand the unique needs of patients across various age groups.
  • Demonstrate competency in caring for patients in accordance with discipline-specific therapy standards.
  • Provide instruction and assistance to therapy team members and adhere to the ethical conduct of the organization.
Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree.
  • Florida Licensed Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant.
  • BLS certification.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
