Johnson Brothers, a national family-owned wine, spirits and beer distributor, is seeking a highly skilled professional to manage all Sales and Marketing Initiatives, New Product Introduction, Training, Brand Development, Product Knowledge, Point of Sale, and Tracking for Wine Portfolios.

The ideal candidate will act as Johnson Brothers' main internal contact with a close relationship with the suppliers to develop goals and ensure the successful execution of objectives for all channels.

  • Manage, track and allocate monthly, quarterly and yearly goals to ensure alignment with company objectives.
  • Dissect and implement plans to attain Supplier Scorecard Goals and Brand Standards, driving business growth and profitability.
  • Develop, implement and track innovation launch plans across divisions, staying ahead of the competition.
  • Understand, develop and ensure programs and tools are in place to deliver key sales objectives, leveraging data-driven insights.
  • Utilize Logility to ensure monthly sales projections are accurate, making informed business decisions.
  • Forecasting and Inventory Management to optimize stock levels and minimize waste.
  • Implement DIPA to track and implement goals and incentives, driving employee engagement and motivation.
  • Use Go Spot Check to track and implement goals and incentives, ensuring accountability and transparency.
  • Develop and manage profitable pricing strategies and programming for all suppliers, maximizing revenue and profitability.
  • Set up new items, new pricing, and manage inventories by working with internal Suppliers, Business Development Managers, and supplier personnel.
  • Track, organize, store and implement POS across the state, ensuring seamless execution.

Position Requirements:

  • BS degree or equivalent work experience; prior experience working in a wholesale/distributor environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, with a proven track record of success.
  • Minimum 2 years people management experience, with a focus on developing and leading high-performing teams.
  • Strong presentation, and public speaking skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact with all functional areas and organizational levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Must be execution-oriented, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Applications, including PowerPoint & Excel.
  • Attendance and punctuality are a must, with a valid driver's license and safe working and driving habits.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with a focus on maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
