The Implementation Consultant for the PeriOp Manager application embodies DSS Inc.'s mission by delivering exceptional support and training to our clients in the utilization of our products and services.

The selected individual must maintain a distraction-free remote workspace and will frequently travel to various healthcare facilities across the United States, ideally residing within proximity to a major airport.

The perfect candidate is detail-oriented, demonstrates outstanding time management abilities, is highly organized, comprehends technology and clinical workflows, and adapts quickly to new information.

Key Responsibilities:

- Travel approximately 36 weeks annually, including weekends and holidays as required, while adhering to DSS travel and expense guidelines.
- Conduct on-site training for the PeriOp Manager software applications and services for diverse user groups within healthcare settings, employing various training methodologies.
- Complete necessary documentation and administrative tasks promptly.
- Customize and adjust product configurations according to client specifications.

Additional Responsibilities:

- Collaborate closely with the product team to identify and resolve technical or application-related issues, ensuring a seamless implementation process.
- Present product demonstrations to prospective or existing clients as well as internal personnel.
- Review application setups with relevant staff.
- Maintain clear verbal and written communication with clients, documenting work activities and processes.
- Comply with policies outlined in DSS and departmental handbooks, including timesheet and expense submissions.
- Develop and sustain training documentation.

SECURITY AND PRIVACY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


Individuals employed by DSS will be subject to security and privacy regulations as stipulated in HIPAA, FedRAMP, and NIST. Furthermore, they are required to complete specific FedRAMP training to ensure adherence to all related controls and responsibilities in their daily tasks.

Employees in high-risk departments will undergo advanced training tailored to their roles and access levels. Those with the ability to modify data and configuration baselines will require additional training.

The aforementioned duties are examples of the tasks performed by employees in this job classification. Management retains the right to modify, change, or rescind work assignments and make reasonable accommodations as necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Skills:

Required:
- Comprehensive understanding of clinical workflows.
- Prior experience with EMR/EHR implementations in a hospital setting, particularly in the O.R.
- Exceptional listening and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, TEAMS).
- Ability to grasp technical processes and learn new software as required.
- Hands-on clinical experience in a healthcare or clinical environment.

Desired:
- Previous experience collaborating with O.R. Nurses and Schedulers.
- Familiarity with the terminology relevant to the technical specialty supported by the product.
- Capability to analyze, understand, and apply information/data.

Education:

Required:
- Bachelor's degree.
- RN qualification.
- Equivalent experience or a combination of education and experience will be considered.

- Professional training in a medical field.
