We are seeking a skilled and compassionate RN PRN Labor Specialist to join our Labor and Delivery team. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
Responsibilities- Provide routine and complex care to patients in the Labor and Delivery department, with a focus on delivering exceptional patient outcomes.
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care, taking into account the unique needs and goals of each patient.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote safe and effective patient care.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical research and evidence-based practices, and apply this knowledge to improve patient outcomes.
- 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty, preferably in Labor and Delivery.
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, preferred.
- Current certification from NCC Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM) or one of the following AWHONN courses: within 90 days of hire for new graduates and experienced nurses new to the specialty, then required to maintain course certification thereafter.
This is a per diem position, with flexible scheduling to meet the needs of the department.
