Job Opportunity

The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) is seeking a highly qualified academic physician to join its esteemed faculty in the Department of Medicine, Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the advancement of medical education, clinical services, and research in the field of endocrinology and metabolism.

Responsibilities
  • Teach and mentor students, residents, and fellows in endocrinology and metabolism
  • Provide high-quality clinical care to patients with endocrine disorders
  • Conduct research in endocrinology and metabolism, with a focus on diabetes, metabolism, bone, and general endocrinology
  • Participate in departmental and institutional service activities
Requirements
  • MD or DO degree, with board certification or eligibility in endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism
  • Licensed or license-eligible by the Alabama Board of Medical Examiners
