Key Responsibilities of the Facilities Maintenance Associate:
• Support the upkeep of a sanitary and safe atmosphere for all residents.
• Execute designated cleaning operations in various locations, which may include restrooms, living quarters, kitchens, dining areas, corridors, staircases, lounges, and elevators.
• Duties may encompass mopping, polishing floors, washing walls, and dusting surfaces.
• Utilize both powered and manual cleaning tools and equipment.
• Conduct grounds maintenance, snow removal, and other assorted tasks as required.
COMPENSATION: $15.00/hour
WORK SCHEDULE: Monday to Friday, 7am-3:30pm
Qualifications We Seek:
• Consistent work or educational background.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and comprehending English to ensure effective communication.
• Basic mathematical skills, capability to lift and transport up to 50 pounds, ability to climb ladders, attention to detail, and the physical stamina to stand, walk, reach, and bend frequently.
• Essential competencies include work ethic and productivity, communication skills, interpersonal relations, decision-making abilities, and reliability.
• Additional skills may encompass financial acumen, coaching, delegation, and strategic planning.
• Capacity to collaborate effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and perspectives.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in custodial, service, or janitorial roles.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• A valid driver's license from the US or Canada.
Additional Information:
- This position may be filled at either the Associate Custodian or Custodian level, based on the qualifications and experience of the selected candidate.
