Job Responsibilities and QualificationsWe are in search of an ER Registered Nurse to join our vibrant Emergency Department. You will provide clinical expertise to ensure that all patients receive high-quality, efficient care in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. Our team is dedicated to supporting one another, and we are looking for a remarkable addition who shares our commitment to meaningful patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the efficient flow of patients, including triage, screening, preparation for examination, general nursing care, and coordinating tests and admissions.
- Educate patients and their families on medications and treatment plans.
- Maintain and review patient records, including posting test results and examination findings.
- Administer medications as per physician orders.
Required Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid Florida Registered Nurse license or appropriate compact licensure. If holding a compact license, an active Florida RN license is required within 60 days of hire.
- Nursing Diploma or ASN is required; BSN is preferred.
- Previous experience in an acute care setting is strongly preferred.
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
- ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire/transfer.
- PALS and/or ENPC certifications required within 6 months of hire/transfer.
- NIHSS certification required within 6 months of hire/transfer.
- Strong critical thinking, service excellence, and interpersonal communication skills; ability to comprehend written instructions and follow verbal directions; proficient PC skills.
