We are seeking a skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our Surgical Services Department, where you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our patients.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate the care of intra-operative patients to ensure high-quality, efficient care in a surgical environment.
- Collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to provide seamless care to patients undergoing operative procedures.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including test results and examination findings.
- Administer medications as prescribed by physicians to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Florida Registered Nurse, with compact licensure accepted if applicable.
- Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
- Previous experience in an acute care setting is highly desirable.
- Current American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is mandatory.
- Critical thinking, service excellence, and effective communication skills are essential for success in this role.
