Job Summary:

As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for delivering high-end furniture to customers' homes, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience. You will also assist with warehouse tasks, including receiving and processing products, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive a company box truck to make in-home deliveries
  • Maintain a clean driving record
  • Prep and assemble furniture and accessories in a customer's home
  • Receive and process products and store in the correct warehouse location
  • Operate forklift, dolly, pallet jack, and reach truck using all safety equipment
  • Loading and unloading of trucks and containers
  • Follow all safety and loss prevention procedures
  • Learn and use company software to update all transfers, receiving, and inventory moves
  • Keep warehouse clean, including bathrooms
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements:

  • Experience driving a box truck (minimum 6 months)
  • Valid driver's license (3 years) and clean driving record to qualify to be insured by the company
  • Customer Service mindset and communication proficiency
  • Strict adherence to all safety policies and procedures
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs
  • Ability to operate forklift and other warehouse equipment, plus scanning and computer equipment
  • Reliability and Punctuality
  • Strong team player with a positive 'can do' attitude and professional appearance
  • 1-year warehouse and furniture delivery experience preferred
  • High School education or equivalent
