As we expand, we are in search of an Electronic Health Records (EHR) Trainer.
Work Location(s): Bradenton, FL. This is an on-site position only. Not a remote position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct training sessions for Dentrix, Athena, and related applications, ensuring user proficiency.
- Create and manage training materials while coordinating schedules with relevant personnel.
- Act as a resource for EHR-specific requirements to aid in the development of reports for auditing and educational purposes.
- Provide support for EHR applications, including troubleshooting and follow-up analysis.
- Manage application-related issues and projects effectively.
- Assist in system pre-load performance.
- Deliver EHR training and support to new staff members.
- Develop comprehensive training materials and oversee the training schedule.
- Serve as the primary contact for EHR/EMR inquiries and reporting needs.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent is required.
- Preferred education includes certification as a Medical Assistant, LPN, or RN with at least 2 years of clinical experience.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as an EHR end-user is necessary.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
- Preferred experience includes at least 1 year in formal training and support roles.
- Administrative experience in a clinical environment is preferred.
- Experience in Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) is a plus.
- Familiarity with Athena Health and/or NextGen EHR/EMR systems is advantageous.
- A valid driver's license is required.
- Willingness to travel between sites as needed (with mileage reimbursement).
- Bilingual capabilities (Spanish/English) are a plus.
- Comfort with technology and a strong aptitude for troubleshooting are essential.
- Professional appearance and demeanor are expected.
- Flexibility and resourcefulness are key attributes for success in this role.
